If you have just "found" me by way of the Believe in Bristol Newsletter - thanks for visiting my blog. Here you can find out more about me, my photography and digital art as well as links to my online stores and local work as it comes out.

I have recently relocated to White Dog Papery, as you have read in the newsletter. My cards there are focusing mainly on Bristol Va-TN and the area. However, online I have several stores which feature other themes and styles of my work. Also, on Zazzle in particular, you can find other types of products that might interest you.

New Greeting Cards in the works

I am designing some new greeting cards and postcards for the store. Many of the previous all occasion cards were designs I had used in my online stores and had no real connection to our area.
The new sets of cards will be based on images from my Bristol area photography and cover a variety of normal all occasion card areas such as birthday, get well and sympathy cards along with a few others.
The new postcards will be done on the style of a mini art poster. I did these for the Sundance Film Festival this month and decided I really liked the look of them, so I will incorporate them into my local work as well.
I will update just as soon as they are available.

Chase Community giving is awarding money to charities. I am a supporter of the North American Bear Center and the Wildlife Research Institute of Ely Minnesota.

If you have seen any of the interviews on Martha Stewart, or the Today show, The Morning Show and saw a man named Doctor Lynn Rogers talk about bears named Lily and Hope then you know who they are.

It is a wonderful research center. We got to see the cub born on a webcam..something that has NEVER been seen before in the actual den.

We are in our last two days of voting...PLEASE help if you can and if you are on facebook. You do add an App that is perfectly safe...please do not delete the app after voting until the winners are announced and they are safely kept.

Bristol Sign Celebration and more

I have been terrible about updating this blog and I do apologize. But as the time of year picks up that visitors come to town and people come home to visit, I hope to be more faithful to keep you up to date on new cards etc.

This year marks the 100th anniversary or birthday, if you will, of the Bristol Slogan sign. I will be able to be part of those celebrations with my photography and artwork. I am trying to get as many new items as possible. Of course what I have at this time is always available at Treasures in Time at 600 - State Street Bristol, TN.

I have been collecting vintage postcards of downtown Bristol over the past little while and will be offering reproduction cards for those of you who love the history of the downtown area in particular. I have some new products in the works and plan to have as many new images available as I possibly can.

My favorite time of year, until spring rolls around and then I love it. Haven't been out doing much shooting lately but hopefully soon I can go over in the mountains and get some nice fall colors. until then enjoy this one from last year

At Treasures in Time the window nearest Sixth Street is like a Bristol Gift Shop. The new ornaments, postcards, magnets and buttons are in and ready for purchase.

All occasion cards are still on a spring sale....soon to be summer sale. Note cards that are being retired are selling and if you are interested - come in while the selection still remains.

Also I will be bringing back my Bristol Christmas cards for early card shoppers. They will be on sale to make way for new cards.

I will soon offer a final reduction on my framed art consisting of floral and abstract designs. Bristol designs, while not marked down are reasonably priced and available only through Treasures in Time.

Hello to any blog readers coming my way. Well if you keep up with my other blogs you know there are changes downtown with the cards being placed in the window.

Apologies for late postcards

There was a problem with the postcards when they came and so I had to reorder. I apologize but I set high standards for the quality I bring into the store.

However the note cards that I am retiring will be available tomorrow, as far as I know as well as the promised markdown on my all occasion cards... 5X7 cards - not the Bristol themed but nice as well) will be marked down from 3.29 to 2.50 that is nearly 25% off.

There are birthday, sympathy, get well, horses, cats, floral, and others.. come get stocked up on my exclusive designs and get a good value for your money.

New postcards are coming into the store on May 1st. All Occasion cards, not Bristol related will be going on clearance, and linen note cards of the Train Station and Bristol sign are being retired. I am not going anywhere, I just want to expand the line and these are older items. New prints will be in soon. Thanks, denise

Just want to send a quick note, or a simple how are you? Postcards are a great way to go. You don't have to worry about filling up a large space or running out of things to say. I have a good assortment of Bristol postcards available with more on the way.

I also have a poster of Bristol available in unframed or framed 11x17 size
